I have always been an avid fan of the 280ZX. From my first 1981 Burgundy 280ZX in High School, through several others over the years, I am a certified Z-nut.

My latest is a 1981 280ZX Turbo. What makes this car so interesting is that it is 1 of only 3 - 1981 Turbo's produced in a Black & Silver 2-tone scheme (Datsun Code 885T). This car also has an all black interior, which is unique to these 3 cars. This scheme is different than the 82/83 Black & Silver cars that most are used to seeing.

Not only is this car one of the nicest 280ZX Turbo's in the country (Under 30k original miles and garage kept since day one) it is also one of the rarest.

The car is truly "museum" quality. It drives better than most brand new cars. The car currently has the full run of a 3 car, air conditioned, garage. My wife loves the fact that our brand new cars sit in the driveway....but hey, this is my Z!

Of the 3 cars made in this color scheme, one went to Hawaii, one went to Canada and one was never titled. This car is the one from Canada. I imported this z into the USA in 2004. Theory goes that these cars were made for Datsun executives. I have tried to find the owners of the other 2 with no luck. I have the Vin numbers for all 3.
