Originally we purchased the car in 1998. The car was previously restored in 1993 by the same shop that was going to do some minor body work and a new paint job. The car was gold and I hated that color. So technically......."A Paint Job Only"? Right. I took one look at the engine bay and knew I had to address the ugliness. Well seeing that I knew I would not be satisfied with stock. The Z bug bit hard and the next thing I knew the car was in about million pieces and the rest is hiztory.


ENGINE
-Completely rebuilt the L28 fuel injected engine, balanced & blueprinted
-Computer balanced and lightened flywheel 40 overbore with new flat top pistons and rings
-Ported and polished head with 5 angle-cut valve job, all stainless steel valves
-Head shaved
-.460 Schneider Racing Cam
-60 mm throttle body
-Mallory Unilite Distributor with 8.5mm MSD plug wires on NGK plugs
-Crane PS-40 Fireball Coil -Rising rate fuel pressure regulator
-All filters are K&N
-4 core radiator with Cool Flex hosing including heater hoses
-6 into 1 Jet Hot coated header with 2 1/2" custom bent aluminized exhaust with a #304 stainless steel Powertone muffler with dual horizontal Borla tips
-Completely dressed up engine with stainless steel accents
-Engine yet to be dyno tested due to low milage. Estimated hp of at least 300+
-Engine compartment illuminated by mini red neon tubes by Street Glow -Etc, etc, etc and so on and so forth you get the picture

DRIVE TRAIN
-Completely rebuilt 5 speed tranmission with short throw shifter
-Centerforce II Dual Friction clutch
-R-200 rear end fitted with limited slip gearing, 355 gear ratio
-Balanced drive shaft and half shafts with new U joints -Etc, etc, etc

SUSPENSION
-All components equipped with Energy Suspension polyurethane bushings -1 inch heavy duty sway bars
-Front and rear strut tower braces
-4 wheel camber adjustment kits
-Energy Suspension lowering springs with Tokico 5 way adjustable struts -Lowered 2 inches -Undercarriage painted red accent colors to compliment body color -Etc, etc, etc

-Complete Kamanari Aero Kit
-F-40 rear wing
-Louvers
-Custom built cowl induction fiberglass hood
-Custom stainless steel front grill
-PPG 3 stage Cinnamin Candy Apple Red, all graphics custom painted
-Paint and Body Work by Dean Miller at Constant Perfections Body Shop.
-Side marker lamps relocated and flush mounted with LED illumination with the "Z" design mounted in the aero kit, front and sides
-California side mirrors
